My silkie just started laying!!! Im so HAPPY!

I went down to the chicken coop and saw Diamond in the Nest box. She laid her very first egg! Im so proud of her!

COOL! How old is she? I was just going to post what age everyone silkies were when they start laying. What color is it?

She's around 5-6 months old. Were probably going to save the egg. It's a creamish-tanish color.

thanxs everyone. Diamond laid her 2nd egg today so maybe it will be on a regular basis now. im hoping to get some chicks out of her eggs soon! i just adore baby silkies!
