Show me your ugliest egg.

1: bantam Amrock egg
2: bantam Dutch egg
3: bantam mix breed egg (Janice, always lays pointy eggs).
4: fairy egg. Or fart egg or rooster egg as we call them in the Netherlands too.
The story goes that people used to think the tiny eggs without yolk were laid by roosters. Its from one of the Amrocks according to the brown colour.

Hubby collected this batch from the nest boxes two weeks ago and was only slightly confused so he took a picture:

I was pretty worried when I found this. This is from my Hubbard JA757 pullet that started laying eggs recently. She luckily lays normal brown eggs now. The tiny shell less egg isn't attached to the bigger one.

Reminds me of
a rubber egg that went missing after a vacation. The neighbour who was chickensitting took it from the nest. She thought it was a real egg and put it the fridge.

I mark the fake eggs since this happened.

I have fake white eggs and so far all mine are brown egg layers so it's easy to tell. But I'm sure it's bound to happen when I have white egg layers.
