My silkie just started laying this week.....?????

She is laying them in the run not in the coop, is it too cold for them to be viable? Will the freezing temps kill any embryo if the are fertile? BTW I don't know how long they were out there before I found them.
 
My silkie's first egg was in the run, I think it caught her by surprise!

After that she followed the other hens and lays in the nesting boxes.

Does your girl have a good example to follow?
