I have an 8-9 month Silkie Rooster i've raised from a chick, he's getting aggressive with me lately showing off in from of the hens. He still hasn't figured out how to 'mate', and chases the younger hens(pullets), but seems to be afraid of the older hens,( he's really afraid of this small 2 year old bantam hen who beats him up). I figure he's acting tough with me because he's not afraid of me and is frustrated.... will he figure 'it' all out on his own and when( how old )...I was told silkie rooster are nice.....and well, he was..... so i'm just hoping he's frustrated, and once he figures things out he'll be sweet again. so any one out there who knows a thing or two about silkie roosters? Thank you~
