My silkies have single combs?

My silkies have single combs when silkies have walnut combs isn't that weird?

It is unusual. My guess is that they are not pure Silkies. They may have Silkie feathering, but if they have single combs, they are almost certainly not purebred Silkies.

That is odd. Your "silkies" are probably not purebred; they most likely have other breeds in their ancestry. Or they may just be non-show quality Silkies, bred by well meaning, but inexperienced breeders. Do they have any other obvious Silkie characteristics (silkie feathering, five toes, feathered feet, etc.)?

Yes they have 5 toes and feathered feet and this doesnt mean anything but my older hen went broody last spring.
