So technically he is not an Ameraucana right? Since Golden Duckwing is not an APA standard bird. But maybe be on the list soon? Thanks for the info in advance.
Black Creek Poultry doesnt know what true Ameraucana are. Green eggs, single combs, non-apa recognized colors, etc. I tried to explain this to them at one point but theyd rather scam people.

No he is not. The breeder is apparently scamming people and selling EE's as Ameraucanas... This roo is not even close, much less the color that the OP purchased.
I know! I know! HE's a CHICKEN!!!! Okay, kidding aside, my first thought was a Faverolle with that dandy muff he is sporting, but HE is most DEFINITELY a HE. I think you just wanted to show off how beautiful HE is
His legs are slate grey, and I have two brown-red pullets also. So if he becomes my only Roo, then if I hatch any eggs he fertilizes, (other then the 2 B/R) they in turn will be EEs and their eggs will be colored blue, green, olive etc?
Sooo, if his mom and dad are ameracaunas, then technically he is also, even if his colors are not traditional or breed recognized. Maybe he didn't turn out right, but I like him and plan on crossing him with the 2 brown/reds as well as any other hen he "likes" (as my gran daughter calls it).
