My SL Wyandotts wont go broody. ( My 1st time posting something)

I bought some SL Wyandott chicks, (one was a rooster) two years ago from Tractor supply, Ive made them a nice coop with nesting boxes, ive made it as good as it gets so they can go broody. it still has not happend. Is it because they are from a hatchery ? this is my second year raising chickens.

Some hens just don;t go broody. Just something about hormones Cochins, but especially bantam cochins and silkies, are champion broodies.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Some breeds are prone to broodiness, others not so much. Hatchery chickens are mainly bred to lay eggs and over time broodiness has disappeared in some of them. If you are really interested in broody birds, you can't go wrong with Silkies, some are continuously broody!
