My Small Scale Coop Build

Looks great! You made my coop look like an outhouse!

Hey all, thanks again for the compliments I really appreciate it. I just haven't been able to work on the coop as much as I would like but I am making progress. I have the main roof completely shingled except for the peak and got the chimney finished up today. I don't like the latch I have on it though so that will be changing. The chimney is sealed with roofing caulk and should be adequately weather proofed.

I though I had subscribed to this thread, but guess I didn't.

You've done an amazing job. Just beautiful.

I may envy this as far as a coop goes, but I really want you to come out and build ME a house. I can't wait to see this done.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!! This is indeed a beautiful coop! But now I may have to revise my coop plans, since my poor chickens would think that I would be a slumlord with the coop I am planning.

Really nice job.

Hey all, progress has halted since I have been very busy with other projects and toys I keep getting distracted by. I have some motivation to get my arse in gear though. It comes in the form of 5 baby chicks from the gentleman whom I purchased my chickens from. They're assorted, should be females, and are currently residing in my basement. 6-8 weeks until I need the larger coop up and running!

Hey all. Finally some progress! I finished shingling and sealing the roof. And got a coat of primer on it yesterday. Left to be done is interior, ramp for entry, and fencing for the run. About 4 weeks or so until the not so tiny peeps are ready to move outside. Here's the most recent picture.
