Hi Marty-

We let our 6 girls out in our yard when we are supervising them. We have only a 3 foot fence and they totally respect it. When we want the to go back to their run, we either throw a handful of scratch grains in there, or herd them in with a garden rake. We have a big red one that they are terrified of!
