That would make sense. I also understand for deterrent purposes. If someone is getting a Doberman mostly to help keep people off their property, floppy ears aren’t gonna be anywhere near as effective.

Yeah that’s true I guess. I know quite a few people are starting to use malinois German shepherd crosses as police dogs. I think those are bred well. I don’t know enough about mixes like that to understand it completely.

Yeah I think it depends. I’m sure there’s lots of crappy breeders but the same can be said about purebreds too.
