My Sheltie sheds less than my Akita and Husky. He also only requires a quick brushing to keep his hair unknotted. I don’t find Gimli’s coat any more maintenance than my border collie or golden retrievers I had as a kid. My husband commented yesterday actually saying “Gimli only really sheds in the spring and even then it’s only a handful of hair at most. Why can’t the other two dogs shed less?”

Less than a golden i could do that
the sheltie in the national dog show was beautiful!
