I put an ad in our local shopping guide for an old shed and this is what I got.

The guy wanted $100 for it and I talked him down to $25. The outside looks a little ruff but the wood on the inside is in good shape.

Any suggestions on how to fix it up.

The studs inside looks solid--can you just replace teh plywood as nessecary and check out the roof. (I always love a tin roof) Congrats though---any shed is always a good find.

Paint goes a LONG way too--oh-and of course a door....

Enjoy!

Looks like ya got a fun project on your hands. Try and find
a local tin supply (Lumber supplier, etc). The bench looks like
a good foundation for egg boxes.

That hole on the front left could be the chicken door. Just trim
it out and put a wooden door there. It will save you the
hassel of trying to patch it.

How on Earth did ya move that thing??

Great Find!!

I love projects like that DH doesn't help me to bring things like that home though!

How did you get it home?

Please keep us posted (with lots of pictures as you go!

I too want to see pics of the progress! It looks like it has a good start to make a wonderful coop. Big enough to hold alot too. I like the idea stated to make the hole in front a chicken door! I hate patching-never matches up.

Don't ya just love how the dogs always gotta check everything out? People always say cats are curious-I think its dogs!

We moved it on a flat bed trailer. Jacked up the front and backed the trailer under it. Then used a come-a-long to pull it on up.

I like the idea of putting the chicken door where the tin is torn up.
