My spill is their treasure

I rearranged some cupboards over the weekend in order to open up some space for all the many jars of things I've canned. The rice (who knew I had so much?!?) went into the "pantry" (shelves in the stairwell).

Well, one of the brown rice bags spilled. I started to sweep it up and went, "ooohh... chickens will love this".

Broom --> dustpan --> pot of boiling water --> all over their run --> happy chickens

Happy Jenn because nothing was wasted!!

I know my guys would love that treat! I'm sure they wish I would do a bit of cleaning so I would have a good spill for them, too!
