My spoiled daughter

now i have to find a recipe for the bunny i bought a small bag of feed from the store today but i refuse to buy anymore it was $8.00 for a little bitty bag thats just crazy to me
They should only get about 1/4 cup of that stuff per day. All the rest should be a combination of dried alfalfa and fresh clover, grass, and other forage greens.

Yeah rabbits don't need much pellets or sugary treats (like carrots n such).

But your situation sounds like mine! (save for I am the spoiled daughter) We now have 12 chickens, 16 rabbits, 12 geese, 6 ducks, 1 cat, and 1 gold fish but that is about to change because we just dug a new pet fish pond. We have no control when it comes to new livestock. (We might even plunge into donkeys and goats)

I don't buy any food for my animals i make it handmade fresh everyday and treats for the week every Sunday so i have to find a recipe for the food they get besides the green's it literally bothered me to buy that little bag of food but I knew she couldn't just eat the greens till I found a recipe

For rabbits most of their diet should be hay. Some people don’t even feed pellets. But a little bit shouldn’t be too bad and probably necessary when they’re young. But I would find some nice Timothy hay. Also most of the feed stores carry rabbit food and it’s probably a lot cheaper :) or places like Chewy and Amazon (online stores) have it too. :)

I wanted to get pygmy goats but we don't have enough land my husband said he is afraid to get another house because of my daughter and my animal obsession

We really want goats too. I’m also working on convincing the family of ducks and guineas.

Totally inserting myself into this but I think that is great! We personally will be making our own food for our poultry when they are off of grower crumble and we hunt our own meat for our cat to mix in with some kibble just to be sure she is getting what she needs. We actually haven't tried making our own rabbit food but we have put them on a all veggie and hay diet before (no pellets) that worked well! Our rabbits were able to thrive, reproduce, and develop properly on it but it is alot of work to pick fresh greens everyday for the amount of rabbits we have so we just feed them pellets. With hay of course.

When you do figure out a recipe for the rabbit food I personally would love to hear about it and see if it is something we would be willing to do for our rabbits!

And as for the goats we have nine acres so the only real battle is convincing my grandmother haha. For some reason she is more sold on the donkey and would rather have a cow than goats.

But yeah hay is a must for rabbits.
