Hey everyone, my name is Michelle. I started my chicken family last spring. I was petrified of chickens, I wouldn't even get out of my car if there were free range chickens around. I decided it was time to get over that fear. My kids and I decided to get 32 chicks last spring and it for sure fixed my fear. Everyone loves them...even our boxer. 
So this spring my boyfriend and I got more layers so we are now up to 58 layers and 45 meat birds. The eggs from our layers we sell at a local store so it pays for the meat birds. Works out fantastic Have a great day everyone!
