My stupid human trick...

Well, thought I would type this out while I sit waiting to see if a trip to the ER is in order.

Open sliding glass door onto porch, walked through. Apparently I also partially closed it behind me.
Made a quick turn around and WHACK slammed knee-cap into side of metal casing on door.
Agony ensued. Tears. A couple of 4 letter words.

The stinging has stopped but now the knee-cap is feeling fat and numb-ish and my entire leg from knee to toe is tingly.
Bruising is very pretty. Lots of purples and black already.

Good grief!

Get better soon - might have dislocated the knee cap which is not good - hopefully it is just a bad bruise.

C'mon Kim..... an xray will tell you lickety split if you have a problem. Knee injuries and swelling under the patella aint something to mess with. So

Looks like its just going to be one wicked bruise. Aches a little but its a good excuse to lounge around for the afternoon.

Didnt go to ER, just iced and rested it. ER co-pays would be as painful as the injury...lol.
