Poor guy - sad he was injured but so glad he survived! I recently lost a male guinea to a dog attack - it was so quick. I saw the dog carrying my guinea and have chase. The dog dropped the guinea, which was still alive. When I did a quick check, the guinea seemed to have minimal injuries, but it died a few minutes later. I decided to butcher it for my sister who wanted to cook a guinea. When I processed it, I could see why it died. Even though I couldn’t see much damage externally, there was blood in the abdomen from massive ruptured abdominal blood vessels. There was also extensive bruising around the pelvis that I could only see when the bird was plucked. All of this to say that there was a lot of internal damage and bruising that wasn’t obvious from the outside. It sounds like your roo is already on the road to recovery, which is great to hear!Yes but very sensitive and shy
