I recieved my first batch of SF Hen chicks on Feb. 1st. Here are head shots at 21/2 weeks old. Any guesses on which are roos? I think #2 Grayish one is a hen, #6 the only one with a crest is a hen and #8 the last one is a hen. It's been a long time since I raised chicks. At what age will I know for sure? #5 yellow with blk. spot on top of head and #7 Red one are both acting more dominant like roosters, too. Thanks for your input. hope to learn a lot about this breed from all you other SFH fanciers. Thanks!
