Can someone please tell me if my mallard hen will be ok? She's been molting and she would fly 20 to 30 feet.
I woke this morning to her house empty. Many feathers. Could she have flown away? Help please!
 
I am so sorry. That does not sound good. If she was molting her wings there would have been no way for her to escape a predator by flight. What does her coop look like? Is it secure?
