My Sweet Little Flock (pictures)

Nice birds. All there feathers look real good. You are doing a great job. I love a mixed flock. Lots to look at.

I found a couple of pictures of my coop. Hey, do you decorate your coop for Christmas too?

The left building with the red door (found at our local dump, and refinished by me) is my coop, divided into 2 section, nesting boxes and roosting. Until my babies were big enough to join my older girls, they lived in the divided section with access to the run. The 5 older girls free ranged.

The building on the right is my shed which I do not know how I lived without.

This is a view from the back, my husband did a beautiful job right up to the roof.

And this is what I inherited (an old converted sheep shed the previous owners fenced in for chicekns) I used it for a couple of years. Ugg, couldn't even stand up in it.

Absolutly beautiful! I love your set up. I have discovered that one can never have enough storage space. I love that your storage is "next door", and doesn't take over your coop.

Your coop is very pristine and beautiful....your hubby's got skills!

I like the colors you have chosen, also.

I don't decorate my coop for Christmas as it is located where noone can get a real good look at it, but this year I might try something or other in the way of lights. I have trouble finding time to decorate my house, let alone the coop!

I dumpster dived and came up with some lifesize, plywood manger scenes....the old-timey looking, decoupage with the thickly varnished finish. I might try to utilize those this year. Even gots a chicken in the scene!

Absolutely beautiful! I love your chickens and your coop/shed set up is fantastic. I showed my hubby and he wanted me to let you know that he loves it too. What a great job!

I love the colors... it's all so fresh and inviting. What lucky chickens you have!
