My talking Grey on Youtube...Share your Youtube Bird.

This is Granny my timneh Grey, she's about 13 y/o. She's really quite the blabber mouth and a real hoot to listen to. She loves to tell our dog's to be quiet which is what she keeps referring to in the Video. Does anyone else have birds on Youtube? Would love to see it.

That is a great video! Your timneh really talks a lot. I have one, but only he only says a few phrases. He does say "quiet" when the dogs start barking. I don't think I could get him to talk on a video--he is more of a closet talker.

Yea, some are closet talkers. If you think he's talking just set the camera up and walk away. Sometimes they talk when your out of the house too, which is another reason to set up the camera or recording device when gone. Good luck, some birds just naturally talk more then others. Both my Greys are female, but I don't know if one sex talks better/more then the other, each parrot is different. My Timneh actually played a big part in teaching my Congo to talk..now it seems they both learn from each other.

i've been lookin to adopt or buy a timneh grey for years. i actually prefer a timmy over a regular grey since they will be more liking to the whole family versus selecting one personat maturaity.

Love your Greys!! I have a Grey too, her name is Guenevere but we call her Puss (as in Puss In Boots) she's 7 almost 8. HUGE personality!!! Her latest thing is to bite me then say "s'okay, s'okay Puss, s'okay" although on the spot it's not funny (cuz *I* am usually the victim) it's pretty funny as a spectator and in retrospect. She adores my hubby though she won't step up onto him without biting. She loves to talk and sing, never ceases to amaze us!
