Some of the time I know they forget the phone, and leave them in another room. We have a new rule that if the kids are in the basement then the phones should be in the kitchen. Then they can hear them ring!
I know its not ALL about them all the time. But why can't it be about me at least 10% of the time?
I know its frustrating. Ive had to check up on my sister a time or two when we were visiting the same neighbor hood ( different friends) and i had to walk three miles to see if she was ok because she wouldnt answer her phone. Turned out the little snip had put me on ignore, even though she was well aware that my phone calls were priority that day.
Well thats a six mile work out for me, considering her friend refused to give me a lift back to where i was staying.
Kids these days though are very self centered. It makes me sick when I go into a store and see some girl texting and then getting an attitude with her mother when asked what kind of ice cream she wants.
