I put a new thermometer/hygrometer in my bator today, and my temperature is only registering at 98.9. So I have had a low temperature for 6 days now. What do I do?? I have the Hovabator Genesis 1588. Ugh, I have a whole bator full of BBS and Buff Orpington eggs. Someone please help me.

IMO you don't need to do anything special. Just try to get it to exactly where it should be and get the eggs developing at the rate they should be. I would say don't try to overcompensate by turning the temp up too high because it will stress them even more.

ok with the genesis its preset mine is off usually by maybbbe 1 degree but not to worry i have a turner therefore having a 1 degree variable being to high but u may have it in a colder room draft area etc.. but to be perfectly honest its most likely the thermometer not the bator. i have 3 in mine and they all say differant thing ans 2 are new also. just because the thermometer is new doesnt measn it will be accurate. id try another thermometer actually the one that comes with it seems to be probably the most accurite of the ones i have hahaha. it says on the info and instruction sheet that the bator is probably more accurtie than your thermometer and to go by the results of the first hatch. if it were me thats what id do and leave it alone. and judge by what turns out
