If you have a particular interest in a breed, or you just want to support the breed/club (especially if it is a rare breed) it might be worth it just for that to keep up on the info and meet people interested in the same breed ... usually they have some sort of newsletters at least. The memberships are usually pretty cheap in chicken clubs, $10-$15 yearly seems to be common.

Thank you! When I finally get my chickens, I will make sure to look it up and see if I can support them as well!
