I have experienced real life chickens since a few years back. I have always thought chickens were food chicken. I have seen chooks at the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm, in petting zoos, in the South-West and in the Perth Royal Show. Seeing chickens make you think these complex birds are not food items, but living beings, but that's someone's opinions on them. Seeing these birds for the first time in a petting zoo last year was different compared to this year's experience. I used to not like chickens until this month. My mind changes all the time, because my brain is developing.

In 2021, I went to the Perth Royal Show to see different poultry, especially chickens. The atmosphere in the Agriculture area seems different for the birds. Lots of people wanting to pet them, kids screaming and adults laughing. I saw a mighty white rooster who crowed all day long. These are loud birds, so be cautious to them. Took some photos of the birds and left the area. In 2022 I did the same except I did not take pictures of the chickens. As I said, my brain was still developing for more information about chickens. I have petted them, including chicks. Each bird is different. And that's why I still experience chickens as they are.

You have a great perspective by learning a different thing about chickens. There are many members who raise chickens for meat, chickens for eggs, and chickens for backyard enjoyment. It's neat as people like yourself who never saw another side of raising chickens now understands more of us. 🥰
