Bullied by the flock, this one stopped laying. I expect she will get round to it again once she feels comfortable.

This poor lady was damaged by a dog. Her foot is completely turned the wrong way and she cannot use it. She does a sort of peg leg shuffle. She's otherwise healthy and laying eggs, so she's doing fine.

The boss Hera [on right] She's full of personality.

They are lovely additions to the flock. It is not unusual for laying to be interrupted during a transition. I hope they all settle in well.

Nice looking birds! What is the breed of the one in the middle picture? We have a semi-lame RIR that walks like her. Ours has been that way for over a year now and gives us an egg about 5 days a week. They are hardy little animals, aren't they?
