The top Roo is Peregrine.

Peregrine, and his three siblings, was a complete surprise for my dad while me and my mom where on vacation. His mother was a red Turken and his father was Roo from the feed store (no idea on breed). His clutch was egg napped by my late BO, Biscuit, and raised by her once they hatched. Both the Turken and the Roo vanished prior to his birth and he outlived all of his siblings (one didn't make it back to the coop in time, one was maimed by predators and euthanized, and the other disappeared). The BO vanished earlier this spring. He was only a few weeks old when I got a shipment of Rainbow Layers from Murrey Mcmurry that contained:

His second in command ,Picasso. Breed guesses are welcome!

and

the "Ren" (Rooster + Hen), Red.

Peregrine and Picasso have split the flock 50\50 between them and Peregrine will not hesitate to remind him if he forgets and tries to "steal" some of Peregrine's hens. Every so often Picasso will attempt to challenge Peregrine and we end up with two Roos running laps around the property!

Red, on the other hand, acts nothing like a Roo. He has never crowed, postured or done anything Roo like. All he does is follow the hens around and "pretend" to lay eggs.

The first one is rather interesting. I love the second one, though. (: A beauty they all are.

Nice roos, do you have enough hens to keep them all happy?

Plenty, with more on the way. (I lost most of the chicks I ordered in June due to a smart raccoon figuring out how to open the coop. I put a raccoon proof lock on it and ordered 20 of Ideal's Surprise Special).

The two have split between them:
4 Red Sex Link
2 Brown Leghorns
1 EE
1 Barred Rock
1 Jersey Giant
1 Red Rock

Plus, I have another BR and two EEs that are 10 weeks old right now.
