My top hen died

She wasn't feeling well last night so I separated her from the others
And she passed in the middle of the night. She's my first adult to pass from anything but an animal attack
She had a large squishy crop, clear/brownish fishy smelling fluid was coming out. She had vomited a lot of brown-poop looking fluid where she laid
She wasn't feeling well and died within less than 24hrs

Sorry for your loss. How old was she ?

About 2yrs old. Any idea on what caused it? I don't think it was sour crop because she wasn't impacted
