My TS is getting bunnies .......

Just went to TS today to just kill an afternoon goofing off - and I asked them if they will be getting baby chicks for spring - they said yes they are getting them in March, but the baby bunnies will be in tomorrow !!!! I cant wait to see all the baby bunnies - I am NOT going to get one, I am NOT going to get one ( if I say it enough I might believe it myself )- but I know it will not be long before the little fuzzybutts get there and they are going to have baby ducks also -- I plan on getting about 2-3 ducks I am hoping to get a few more females -- and they said they will have a large assorment of chicks to choose from -- aww man I am in trouble now -- where do they sell self control I am going to need ALOT of it LOL

I went to our Purina dealer today to pick up some feed and shavings and they had in baby bunnies, baby Mallards and baby Peking ducks, they were to cute. No chicks yet though.

I am really hoping that our TS will have baby pekin ducks since I am looking for a girlfriend for Afflac - oh course I will have to buy at least 2 or 3 cause you never know how is a he or she till they get older LOL

I did find out that the chicks will be colored for easter - the manager said that they asked for non-colored babies but the hatchery is sending them " ready for easter " but they will make sure people know that the color is NOT what the babies will stay and make sure the people buying them " are chicken people " LOL

but I cant wait - colored or not I will have my hands all in that chick pen hen they get there

I wish our TS had chicks and bunnies! They claimed they weren't selling them because of avian flu or some lame excuse like that. Maybe this year though!

The bunnies I can probably hold out on because I'm really planning to get a female jersey wooly to breed...so we'll see. The chicks, now that's a whole other story!
