My TS is getting bunnies .......

LOL the rabbits...ducklings...and chicks = TEMPTATION! Luckily I can fall into this temptation this year! Im hoping to get 6 chicks and maybe a duckling or two.
Good Luck with your temptations...lets us know when you have the pics:)

californias are the white ones with the black around the eyes right? - if so there are a few that look like that, I asked what kinds and the girl said " hatchery choice "
there are some buff colored ones, and the white ones with the black around the eyes nose and ears, and a few others, there are the dutch ones that have black on the head and butt and white in the middle ( look like oreo cookies ) I am no expert on breeds so I really cant tell what they are and I dont think they are sexed - so what you get is what you get LOL

all I know is they are darn cute and fluffy

So just a big bin full of chicks with no identification on what breed /gender they were?

Our TSC quit handling chicks for a year or two, but I asked yesterday and they will again be handling them.

They have bunnies in right now, but I have a Mini-Rex now (female) as a pet and don't think I better get any more. I started with two when I was a youngster and before long I had bunnies stuffed everywhere.

Cheekon this is a big pin full of bunnies with no ID's on breed, sex LOL the chicks are coming in a few weeks - the girl called them " hatchery's choice " because like a few of the people working there she was totally clueless - bunnies dont hatch

they hop LOL

I will bring my camera when they get the chicks in - and hopfully I can control myself to getting only a few

We had a pet bunny for years! It was the best pet. She was kept outside in her hutch but was brought in a lot. Daughter would put her in her baby stroller and take her for walks, lol.

For me, this was the easiest pet I have ever had. Go get one! Just remember you need to handle them everyday the first year so they won't bite.

I am kinda leaning toward getting one I had two about a year ago, but had to rehome when we moved I am now in a house where if I want one I can get one. I will have to think on it some more . my sister breeds lionheads and lops - if she was closer I would get one from her in heartbeat LOL

what kind of chicks are you getting Cheekon????
