Thank goodness we don't have a TS anywhere near me. I couln't stand the temptation! Unfortunately, alot of those baby bunnies are probably going to end up at animal shelters after the Easter/spring rush. I see it all the time.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU for saying this! If you think unwanted, neglected and abused chicks are a problem at Easter, it is nothing compared to what happens to thousands of baby bunnies. Raising a rabbit from babyhood takes knowledge and committment. They do not appreciate the noise and confusion of a holiday, and certainly aren't sturdy enough to be mauled by a bunch of sugar-hyped kids on their first day in the new home. That is how backs and legs get broken.
If you are truly thinking a bunny would be a good addition to your household, then adopt one from a shelter or see a REPUTABLE breeder. Do lots of homework first, as bunnies are not like other pet animals. Veterinary care is specialized (ie: certain antibiotics are deadly to buns, they need to eat before surgeries, etc.). They require an understanding of their diet as well (for instance, few people realize that the digestive system of the rabbit is most similar to a horse).
I had no idea that Tractor Supply stores sell bunnies. We just got our first TS last summer. After work I'll have to stop in and make sure they don't plan on selling bunnies...
NO FAIR ours is not getting them until the 23 !!! I am going to your TS instead - and than when mine get theirs I will have to go take a look and see if they are the same and of course get a few LOL
not to mention there are ALOT of feed stores that will have babies so I might have to make a "chicktrip" and see what they have ( DH is going to kill me )
