my turkey goes to sleep after a bit of petting.

Does Barnham get along with her mother now, or is her mom no longer on the premises? Do you still have a tom?
If so, how does the mix work out? I have considered getting a young blue slate tom as a companion for my blue slate hen (she's the only turkey on the place). However, I'm a little hesitant to do so because I don't want to "upset the apple cart". Everyone gets along now, and there are few squabbles apart from the occasional dust-up between the young cockerels, and the NOTABLE exception of the pied guinea being a PITB by grabbing hold of the BO rooster's tail and hanging on.

I assume Honey (the turkey hen) is happy, but I sometimes wonder if she'd be happier with another of her own kind, or if in her mind, she IS among her own kind. She is broody right now, and is sitting on some guinea eggs and 2 duck eggs.

When Spartacus is being held and petted, and is fully asleep or appears to be, he and a few of the other turkeys make small soft noises, like small cheaps, sounding almost like whistling, my dad calls it singing, arre they making noises of contentment?
