Last week I noticed one of our male pet turkeys was hiding in the back of his pen. When checking on him I quickly realized our other male turkey (that have always gotten along) was trying to attack him. So we moved him. Once moved we noticed he had mites, we treated & thought that was the issue. Everyone got treated. He’s 5 years old (white broad breasted) was still not wanting to get up, he eats a bit, drinks a bit, then we noticed he was a bit broody? So we gave him plastic balls which he constantly was putting under himself. Well today we found huge black scabs on his stomach. Does anyone know what this is? Or how I can help him? Feel terrible I didn’t see this to begin with. Thanks for any help.
