My turkeys has this thing on its face what is it?

I took my turkeys out to roam like they always do and I noticed this on its face. What is it and what can I do?

No, I think the OP meant the small sore on the bird's cheek, near it's beak. Looks like fowl pox to me................

Lol , not the snood I should of been more specific! I’m sorry ! The sore on its cheek. I don’t know how to treat it and what to do,

It may need no treatment but you can flush it with saline and then apply betadine.

Thank you. So it’s nothing to run to the vet ? Or anything I can cure ? I’m worried it will transfer got he humans, my kids play with them everyday and so do I . I want to make sure it’s nothing to worry about . For a piece of mind !
