Okie, impulse buy, two chickens, The lady says they are hens and I believe her...lol
She says the dark one is an Ameruarcana and that the little white one has a breed or type too. But she also said her Ameruacanas laid green eggs....so

And she swears the little white one will lay brown eggs, but she has off white/grey earlobes...so what do you figure that means?

So can anyone tell me how to spell Ameruacana? Is she an EE? Whats the other one? and their approximate ages?

And welcome me officially to being a chicken keeper, cus these are my first two. Yay

She's not an Ameraucana. . . And yes, you spelled it right.

She's an Easter Egger. . . No common "breeder" you just run into who has green egg laying chickens sells Ameraucanas.

The other one, who knows. . . There's no sign of pink at all on her earlobes?

The other one looks like some sort of mutt. So, you have two mutts.

Lol, I figured they were mutts, but they are pretty, I cant wait till there combs come in, the older one has small waddles and pink in the itty bitty comb, the other EE's the lady had were a year or so older had the pretty beards and puffs around there heads. She said something about Ideal Sex link when talking about the white one, but wasnt sure.

Sex Link females should be black, brown, or golden colored. . . Males come in that color though.

I doubt she's a sex link.
