My two newest girls

I got two grown girls this weekend! A friend at work was looking for a home for them for her elderly aunt and uncle and they wanted someone that wouldn't eat them! They are sweet as can be. I assume Rhode Island Red.

New girl laid an egg. First one for my house. My daughter thinks it is the coolest thing ever!

It was a good size one too! I was kinda shocked that she laid one her first day at my place. I figured they would be out of sorts for a few days at least. Of course, she didn't give me one yesterday, so maybe she just already had that one finished... lol
