is this normal? They're both healthy and about 8-10 months old. One is a Black English Orpington and one is a SpLash Orpington. Can I maybe expect to see their production pick up as they get older?

Wikipedia says orpingtons lay between 175 and 200 eggs per year. Other sources say even more.

3.36 eggs per week would give you 175 eggs per year.

Are you feeding a high protein layer?

How long have they been laying? If they have recently started producing eggs, it could be a few weeks before production increases

in my humble opinion
