My VERY FIRST egg!!!!

Well after only having my girls now for 2-3 weeks my big Buff Orpington laid her first egg for mee. I was SOOOOO egg-cited!

I went out to see why she was making this really loud clucking (berkerk) noise and saw that she was in the nesting box for the first time. Then she hopped out and there it was in all its light brown splendor.

I called all my friends as I was so proud and she waited till I had the day off to do it.

In the middle of two store bought 'large' eggs.

I HAD MY FIRST EGG DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY AND STILL CAN'T GET OVER THE EGG-CITEMENT!!!!
