My Welsh Harlequin drake is sitting on the nest of eggs. In all my years of chickens and ducks, this drake relieves the hen several times a day

My Drake's is strange, my hen started sitting on a clutch a week ago The drake started sitting in for her up to a hour or so. Is this normal?
