My white silkie rooster is bleeding profusely under his crest.

So today I get a call from my either that my white silkie rooster is covered in blood and there's blood all over the coop. I have another rooster but they have been raised together so I don't think they fought but now im not sure what to do? How to I fix this problem? As soon as I arrived home (5minutes later) all of the other chickens were picking at the would!!!! Please help!

I would think they fought. Or one pecked and got blood so kept pecking. I think you should clean the area, put some antibiotic ointment on it, and see if it's possible to rig up a bandage over it. I would not have them together.

Thank you so much flock mistress! After I cleaned his crest and neck I noticed the peck wound on his crest!
