The house and the barn (in the background) have all the same siding. We just had so much leftovers that we had enough for the coop. And since my husband is a perfectionist of course the coop had to match the house and the barn ;-)
We haven't finished all the siding at the coop before winter was coming but we will be doing the last final touches in spring.

The nice thing I'm realizing about chicken homes is you can always remodel and expand.

If the snow or wind gets brisker where the christmas tree doesn't work anymmore, staple some heavy mil plastic on the prevailing side of the coop.

I love your coop and run! Presently my chickens can't leave their coops

as the runs are not covered and full of snow.
