My Wonderful day at Forever Wild - PIC HEAVY!

Let me put it this way. They are tame, people friendly, had no issues with a halter or lead. But they have been there for over 8 months with no one riding them. We are gonna bubble wrap ourselves for the first mounting.

Awesome!!! I didn't know you guys ride horses! Cool! I've been a horse once and DH has ridden a few times...needless to say, as much as he and I like horses...we won't be getting any. Now a llama or two...that'd be cool! Maybe when we move closer your way, we'll look into it!

Belle you have NO idea how blessed I feel today. Once I realized where we were going, I was beside myself. Ken even remembered to bring the camera. He is so stinkin good to me!!!!

And then to find out those horses were available!!!!! We knew we were blessed when the owner came out to talk to us and said, give em a good home and they are yours free. He actually spent about 3 hours with us, asking questions, joking around. I could tell he was testing the water to see if we would be good parents. After meeting this guy, his kids and seeing all his good work, I can attest that Extreme Makeover Home Edition had a very good reason for picking them. My heart swells thinking about it. Each animal has a name and every volunteer and employee knows each one's history. There is a level of committment there that you do not usually find. Anywhere.
