My wonderful Rooster attacked me today

He is beautiful!!! Try all the things others suggested. Remember he is protecting the ladies, that is his job. My Patridge Rock went after one of my friends this past weekend because he was jumping around acting crazy. However, my rooster does not bother me or my boys.

Well I just went and let them out of the coop and I was armed with a squirt bottle ready for battle. He totally ignored me and went about his business of chasing the ladies..... I hope yesterday was just a bad day for him and he behaves. I have a feeling though that it's not over yet.

I have a nice gentle rooster. He does act up once in a while and I remind him I'm boss by picking him up (ususally have to corner him first) and holding him. Then I look him straight in the eyes and verbally remind him who is boss and that the soup pot is empty! I have had real good luck doing this.
