My Yorkie thinks she is a chicken!

We have had our yorkie for 3 years now and she has just fallen in love with our 4 month old chickens. She was checking out the ramp into to roost!



Does anyone else have a dog that is obsessed with their chickens??

Glad yours likes chickens . I have 3 yorkies 2 parents and their puppy . The parents will attack and kill andy chickens or small animal they can get too . The puppy is kind of scared of everything

One of my Yorkies...Pepper, thinks they are his babies...I'm talking personal property. He adores them....he'll lay in the grass, and they will climb all over him. Where he goes they follow...thinking "Momma"... (the chicks, the chickens...uhm, not so much...he barks at them, and they try to flog him..it doesn't stop him though)
My other 2 Yorkies are scared of them. They like them...just kinda scared.

My dog Misty is going into heat and our 3 week old chicks have become her puppies... all 13 of them. She sits at the coop when they have outside time (it's in the high 70's low 80's here in Phoenix) and growls at our other dog any time he tries to get too close. Man i wish i could breed that dog.

Mine likes to sniff chicken butt(s)...lol. She is all agro around the run but then I put her in with them and she quickly cowers down - it is kinda funny since she is so annoying sometimes. But when the chicks are let out to free range all she loves to do is go up and sniff all their butts-haha!
