Yes ill make sure to check how big is my coop. I think it could hold about 12 chickens not sure thought ill have a look at it tomorrow and if i need more space ill ask my friend to make it bigger

It is recommended at least, 4 sq. ft. per bird in the coop and 10 sq. ft. per bird in the run. This gives them ample room to move around in. But if you will be getting more in the future, than make it a little bigger. Remember, waterersl, feeders and chicken blocks take up room also.

I am also in Lemoore and would love to keep a few chickens but I am having trouble finding information on the regulations here. Would you be willing to point me in the right direction? We are in town in a neighborhood. Thank you!

Mommarose, Have you tried calling your township and ask them? They may tell you or they may refer you to who you get ahold of. You probably won't be able to have a rooster though because of close neighbors.
