I may be posting another thread or two later on as I just found out this disease has been vet confirmed in my flock.

After speaking with my State Veterinarian on the phone, she had suggested I could test all 57 members of my flock to see if any would test negative and cull those positive (this was after I told her killing our whole flock wasn't an option for us).

It seemed contradictory to be told how contagious MG is and then that there could be negative results/birds in a flock with positives. Our birds of various ages have all been together for months and years.

As we learn more about our situation, are there those with more experience who have seen negative birds around positive ones?

:popFollowing out of curiosity. Good luck with your quest and your flock.

Thank you. It's unfortunate but from my understanding it's a pretty common disease that isn't well regulated. It feels like we're singled out just because we did our part and got official testing done but we're trying to move forward and do all the research we can.
