MyPetChicken.com, should we get chicks from them?

I rec'd my 3 Red Star chicks from MPC almost 5 weeks ago. They were shipped overnight but our PO didn't get them for another day! I just knew they would be dead. They were shipped with a little heat pack and looked pretty weak but they popped right back immediately with water & food. I would recommend MPC. Great communication as well.

I got my small order from Meyers in Ohio 2 weeks ago, and they had a heat pack and extra bedding, and all made it fine. I would compare the shipping and pricing with MyPetChicken and probably "skip the middle man" since Meyers and other hatcheries supply them. Beware that when you do a small number you pay dearly for the shipping. You can order 25 with very little shipping charges because they don't need all the extra packing and heat.
