Does anyone know what would kill a duckling without leaving marks or eating it? I found it dead and half of it's body was wet like it had been submerged or sucked on, for lack of a better description. There was no water in the pen where it was other than it's water dispenser.
There was a tiny bit of blood at the corner of it's beak but that's the only sign of blood that I could tell.
I have no idea what I'm up against and want to protect my other ducklings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
