I have no idea what these guys are... Any ideas? bf's daughter seems to think they are a BB Red mix, but I have no idea.

Definitely a Cochin mix :-D

They all look like mixes to me, probably with Brahma and/or Cochin in them.

Thanks! My bf's daughter brought them home as eggs. The first one has grown to become my arch enemy... But the other two are beautiful to me too!

Just to say, that last bird's color is most often associated with Faverolles, but it's an easy enough color to get to through several different mixed breed pathways. My guy Eric is pretty similar, and you can't get much more mixed than he is....



Faverolles crosses should carry down the muffs/beard, feathered legs and five toes for at least a generation or so....
