Mystery Barred

So there’s a place near where I live called the fruityard. People drop off unwanted chickens there. There’s a recently added barred pullet/hen. She’s skinny, sharply barred, looks like a little bit of brown in the barring. Single comb, yellow legs. I’ll post pics when I can. Any thoughts on breed? I’m thinkin not rock cause skinny and a little bit of brown, the possible egg is small-medium cream white. Any thoughts?

Are sure it's a girl? Because from the description, it could be a Black Sex Link Cockerel. Seems strange that someone wouldn't want a laying hen.......

To big and too small comb and waddles to be a cockerel. Some people drop off whole flocks because they can’t keep them.

Sorry, unclear. Too big chicken, too small comb and wattles. She was also following a roo.
